What are you planning for?

Every perspective has its own page. Choose yours, or several.

Summer power becomes winter security.

1

Charging

In summer the PV system produces more electricity than the site needs. Instead of curtailing the surplus or selling it cheaply, the electrolyser converts it into hydrogen on site. The waste heat supports hot water production during charging.

2

Storing

The hydrogen is chemically bound in the metal hydride, a solid-state storage medium operating at up to 35 bar. It has no self-discharge and operates quietly and compactly inside the building. This is why the large-scale storage system can be considered where large-scale battery storage may face space, noise, fire-safety, or permitting constraints.

3

Returning

In winter, the fuel cell converts the hydrogen back into electricity, while waste heat can heat buildings or the heating network to up to 70 degrees. Electricity and heat are available when needed.

The integrated short-duration storage system serves fast electricity markets. Each storage system operates in its own market, orchestrated by Energy Intelligence. Revenue stacking reduces dependence on a single revenue stream.

And what if the grid fails? On request, a single building can be designed to be black-start capable, with autonomy for days rather than hours. More on this under safety & bankability

Value created in Europe. Built for circularity.

The long-duration storage system requires no rare earths and no lithium. All materials are available in Europe, and 80 % of the production chain is located in Switzerland. Storage performance is guaranteed by the manufacturer for over 20 years, and on decommissioning the pure metal returns fully into the material cycle.

We take out complexity and bring in economic viability.

Delivered with a coordinated partner ecosystem

Standardised safety in accordance with SVGW H10001, co-developed by eRevo, guarantees long-term service agreements and operating data from real-world operation. Safety & bankability

Operation and service

We do not deliver a device. We deliver decades.

A DMES is infrastructure that forms part of the building’s life cycle. That is why our work does not end at commissioning. Energy Intelligence controls and optimises the plant across hours, days and seasons, using self-learning and forecast-based operation. Monitoring, maintenance and reporting continue throughout the project term.

Round-the-clock monitoring, even offline.

The system monitors itself, even if the external connection fails. Its safety functions do not depend on the remote connection.

Detect patterns before something fails.

Hundreds of data points per system are continuously analysed for patterns. This enables early detection of service requirements rather than repairs only after a shutdown.

Swiss field service.

Maintenance and fault clearance are carried out by technicians on site. There is no need to rely solely on a remote hotline in another time zone.

Secure remote maintenance.

Access is provided through secure connections with logged permissions. Who did what and when is fully traceable.

Fleet view instead of a single system.

Every system reports its operating data. What one system learns benefits the others, and each new system starts with the knowledge gained from those installed before it.

Secured across the full term.

Long-term service agreements and performance commitments cover the full project term. The manufacturer guarantees the storage performance for 20 years.

6 to 8 months

lead time to commissioning

From commissioning the project mandate to an operational plant, including the coordination of all trades. The duration of official permitting may affect this timeframe. One point of contact, one contracting partner and one coordinated partner ecosystem.

Substance you can verify.

FAQs for each target group, key sources from the Swissgrid white paper to the reference work “Areale und Quartiere”, and specialist documents on request.
